Acemate (“we”, “us”, or “our”) will be the controller of your personal data.

2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

2.1. Data we receive directly from you:

  • Voice Recordings & Content: The Service utilizes advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to process the Voice Recordings, PDFs, images, and text you provide. We use this content only to create the transcriptions, summaries, quizzes, and flashcards you requested.
  • Feedback/Communications: We process your email and other information provided by you to us through customer support and other communications.

2.2. Data we collect automatically:

  • Device Data: We collect data from your mobile device, such as language settings, IP address, time zone, type and model of device, device settings, operating system, Internet service provider, mobile carrier, and hardware ID.
  • Usage Data: We record how you interact with our Service. For example, we log your taps on certain areas of the interface, the features and content you interact with, how often you use the App, how long you are in the App, and your subscription status.

3. FOR WHAT PURPOSES WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data:

  • To provide our Service: This includes enabling you to use the Service in a seamless manner and preventing or addressing Service errors or technical issues.
  • To customize your experience: We use data to adjust the content of the Service and provide content tailored to your preferences.

AI & Transcription Services

Infrastructure & Authentication

  • Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for secure authentication, database storage, and backend infrastructure. Firebase Privacy.

Payments & Subscriptions

  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchase data. We do not store your financial data directly; it is handled by the App Store/Play Store and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. We will also retain and use your personal data to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data directly within the App settings or by contacting us.
